Place seeds in a shot glass full of distilled water. Put in a warm spot (example on top of your fridge). Within 72 hours tap root should appear (Some seeds may take longer, but almost all viable seeds will “pop” within 3 days). Place seed with tap root pointing downwards, into your growing medium (approximately 1/2 inch deep) and cover seed gently with medium. Place under light and always keep your medium moist.
Most seeds will germinate within 24 to 72 hours, but some make take up to 12 days, so be patient. For further and more detailed instruction, you should collect as much information as you can (grow books, videos, and magazines) it will not go to waste.
Indicas are short dense plants, with broad leaves and often grow a darker green. The smoke from an Indica is generally a body type stone, relaxing and laid back.
Sativas are just about the opposite of indicas. They are tall, thin plants, with much narrower leaves and grow a lighter green in color. The stone of a Sativa is cerebral, up and energetic.
Combining different indicas, different sativas or a combination thereof creates hybrids. The resulting hybrid strains will grow, mature and smoke in relationship to the indica/sativa percentages they end up containing. Select your desired genetics:
The type of strain that can be grown indoors or outdoors really depends on the length of season in your area, you want your plants to finsh budding before the frost comes in the fall season. Another determining factor in which type you are looking for is the ratio of Indica to Sativa. The more sativa that is in the genetics, the longer the plant takes to mature. If you're lucky enough to have a long growing season, virtually any of the strains we carry can be grown outdoors. Any of our strains can be grown indoors given the proper setup. Harvest times really depend on conditions and what you feed your plants. Choose the type of strain you want grow!
